Waiting Around, Again

I am home waiting for the 11th visit of our heating and air contractors that put in a new furnace and air conditioner. We have failed the City inspection, twice. They have apologized twice, provided a gift card to Chili's and written a check for $200 and I am still considering taking them to the Contractor Licensing Board. If you are in the Northern California area and are considering a new furnace and air conditioner I can definitely tell you the outfit not to call. Most of the contractors we have had do a great job and are very professional. In fact, Rob was here today to clean the carpet. He is a Cal Poly grad, works hard, and is here on time. His company is Irongate. Give him a call. These were not. After they left, the cat kept staring at the ceiling, calling our attention to the fact that there was a major leak in the air conditioning system. Oh, and the furnace did not work either. Things may be about to end. I hope so. Angie's List is now seeming like a good idea. I should have consulted it. Finally, my latest charity - DAM - Mothers Against Dyslexia. Heard that on the radio somewhere and stole it. I like it.

LMAO - you sound about like I did a few months ago after having to go round and round with a paint contractor for overspraying our truck. It took 4 months to get it right. I hope they get your heat & a/c fixed soon. Good luck! ~V
