Once again we made the trek to Texas and back and survived another trip. This was actually a flawless one and we are still somewhat in shock. We traveled using ExpressJet and it was a great flight. A small jet with only fifty passengers, two seats on the right and one on the left, one flight attendant and one lavatory, it was quick and efficient (two pilots, looking about 19 years of age). We arrived early on both flights and it does not take long to get baggage. We also flew into OKC and found it to be uncrowded and very easy to get to a rental car in the airport and to return it. It took about thirty seconds to turn it in and get to the terminal. I am not making this up. Why we ever flew into DFW I don't know. It is simply chaos and traffic around there is impossible. We began with a Mexican feast at Garry's and Graciella's house on Wednesday night, followed by a memorable Thanksgiving dinner at Maurine and Jim' s house. My favorite was the smoked turkey from Greenberg's in Tyler, TX. Joe and Joyce (probably Joyce) said that Oprah recommended it. It was a good choice. We had a fabulous breakfast the next morning at Joyce and Joe's house and it was amazing. It was great to see everyone and here are some pictures of Maurine in her kitchen and Rhonda outside Maurine's house. More pictures on the chaos and kids to follow.
