Saturday Matinee

We did not plan our Saturday to be one where we went to Paul Martin's American Bistro and then a movie, the latest Indiana Jones film, but since we awoke to rain, our plans to mow the lawn and tidy up the yard evaporated. The lunch was fantastic and this has to be one of the best restaurants in California. Fresh local food, great atmosphere and great service. Indiana Jones was fun and even though we bought our tickets online, we still ended up waiting for twenty minutes in a line outside and thirty more minutes in line inside, before being allowed to sit in the theater. It seems that everyone else had the same idea. Once in our seats, thirty minutes of mind numbing advertising, a few trailers and then the movie. The movie was great fun.
