Rocky ended his run today. He was fine, his hips were not. Yesterday he could not walk across the street to the park and I ended up carrying him home. He was a great dog and we will miss him but it was time though not easy. He was fearless, a protector, and yes, he was racist, particularly when it came to white dogs. We are having a pretty maudlin evening around here but we just have to remember and be thankful that we had him for as long as we did and really had a great time.

Sorry to hear the news. Not too often that you find a dog that's as good a friend and good-natured as he was.
I have met Rocky twice,in the years 2006 and 2009,
I can say he was a smart dog, in our last visit Thanks giving day (2009)
i went through the garage to toss some rubbish outside,Rocky was there sitting on his mat,he recognized me,like a good soldier! and luckily he did not bite my leg off.
Arthur,Greece.
So sorry to hear about Rocky...I know he was a faithful companion to you.
