Vote For Jared

A friend has nominated her son to win a car. Here is the site to vote. His nomination is the third one and here is the info.
The Woodhouse Family owns a car dealership in Omaha. They are running a contest called MAKING A DIFFERENCE – and they asked for written stories to be submitted, about people who are “making a difference” in the lives of others (folks with a positive outlook on life) who also are in dire need of a car. The winner wins a brand new Dodge Caliber. So, I nominated my youngest son, Jared – because he does touch so many lives…AND his car has been broken down for months, and he cannot afford a new one.

There were over 5,000 entries...and Jared’s story was one of only FIVE finalists chosen. That alone is an honor! I have spoken with the owners of the company. They are the real deal – wonderful Christian people. They feel that God has blessed them with more than they ever thought possible, and they simply wish to “give back” by giving a car away every month through December 2010. This is, I believe, only the second month they have done this. I found out about this through one of my clients, who’s non profit organization (www.ThePlaymakers.org) is very active in Omaha.
