New Wood Joints For The Driveway and Sidewalk

If you wondered why we have been quiet lately there is a reason. We have begun our spring projects that always seem to take two or three times longer than they should. Some of the wood joints in our driveway needed replaced, so we took all of them out, replaced them, putting mortar at the bottom and then stained them. The stain said it is guaranteed for three years. Facing west with the sun here in summer, I doubt it. It does look better but it was pretty tough going. Every single one of them had at least ten nails that had to be removed. Thank goodness for a sledge hammer. We also removed the bridge to the deck. Rhonda is napping well today.
