He "temporarily" resigns as the head of the powerful House Ways and Means committee as a result of ethics violations. And he is a tax cheat. And he is replaced by the boor, Pete Stark (D) CA, who is also a tax cheat. We deserve better. The American public should be able to vote out 10 percent of the Congress they regard as inept or corrupt and ignore the local elections that keep returning crooks. Despicable is the word that comes to mind.
