Attended a fundraiser last night, and for those of you with money, this is a worthy cause. Our friend, Don Brewster founded a nonprofit that rescues girls from brothels in Cambodia. Cambodia is a failed country, slowly recovering from the mob of Communists that took over the government. They could not govern, so their solution was to force the population out of the cities. They were supposed to farm and feed themselves. Of course that failed, so the Khmer Rouge, their name, decided to slaughter anyone that was educated. That helped a lot. Educated meaning teachers, to include anyone wearing glasses. Population continued to starve so they slaughtered all of the religious authorities, such as Preists and Monks. They managed to kill 2 million in the process. They now have a society that has no moral compass, are very poorly educated and barely making it. Give if you can and they really need a dentist who wants to visit for a month or so, if you know anyone, email Don. Weather is great and we spent the day visiting some local wineries, that are really getting to be quite good. California wineries are just much better than anywhere else, largely because our weather is perfect. We toured some wineries in Texas and sorry, it is just not working. Stick with Shiner Bock.
