Yes, we have a fire nearby, but not that near. Auburn is about twenty miles from us and there was a serious fire yesterday, about thirty miles from us on the north side of Auburn. Some sixty homes were destroyed. We had 100 degree temperatures, very low humidity and high winds. It is much cooler today and the wind has died down. Unlike Southern California, this one is pretty much over.
