I just spoke to Arthur, out on the street in Thessaloniki, getting Mara something to eat. He said the surgery went very well and Nik is in recovery. He should be there for at least three or four days. This is a good time to remember to be thankful. Here is the verse of the year for Mariner's Church, the one Eric and Leslie attend: I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, "The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!"
