I just read a book recounting the efforts of one man to do something concrete in Pakistan. Pakistan is one of the most dysfunctional countries and one of the most dangerous. Greg Mortenson managed to go there and build schools with little initial support. He has an amazing story. This is what we should be doing around the world. Read the book and send him money.
