Just talked to Rhonda again at 0545 Pacific this Thursday. They are in Thessaloniki and Mara and Arthur had a long discussion with the surgeons. The damaged portion of the large intestine is 20 centimeters or 7.9 inches, which sounds better to me. The current plan is to do a colostomy on Friday, send the kid home in a couple of weeks and probably bring him back around the age of 5 months to a year for the final operation to remove the damaged tissue.
