Mara called at midnight and was very excited. She got to nurse Nikolaos and it seems as if he should be released from the hospital by Monday at the very latest. She is feeling much better and they are anxious to get the little tyke home. Here is a photo for those of you depressed by winter. We don't get snow, but the Sierra Nevada is not far and it did snow in Auburn, ten miles from us last week. This is from a ridge behind our house.
