Thanksgiving etc.

Our Thanksgiving was perfect this year. We just missed Arthur, Mara, Nik and Kat though. No one got hurt, the turkey from Greenberg farms was amazing and we enjoyed the visit. This past week was a disaster though. Monday night the dog throws up at 2 AM and I cannot go back to sleep. I take my car in for a routine oil change only to find out that rats or squirrels have eaten my windshield washer assembly and air filter. So, $560 dollars later, problem solved. Then, while putting one of the bikes up by myself, after Rhonda offered to help and I turned her down, I knocked my Oregon Scientific Indoor/Outdoor temperature gauge from the wall and broke it. Oh well, the new one arrived and it is better. My garage door has been reinforced and nothing can get in anymore, plus the pest control folks have enough poison in the garage to kill a million critters. Just not the squirrels. They are a protected species and you are supposed to trap them and relocate them. This is California after all.
