Back From The East Coast
Finally we are back from the east coast. Thanks United Airlines. After they told us our flight was delayed for two hours, then four, then five, they called and said we would leave immediately. We did not. They cancelled the flight so we began the long wait in line for hotel vouchers, then endured the bus ride to the Sheraton, which, of course, had no rooms. We walked over to the Westin where the front desk found us a hotel with rooms and we got a taxi there. It was a very nice Marriott Residence Inn. After sleeping for 2 and a half hours, we left and headed back to the airport for a flawless flight home. It is 62 degrees here this morning, and at least we missed a week of brutal heat. And we enjoyed Pennsylvania and found time to hike in this state park on the Appalachian trail.

Ahhh, to escape the heat.....must be nice. It seems North Texas is trying to break all records of days with triple digits. Over 40 now, but it must be getting close to 50 by now. I have stopped listening to the weather.... it is just a repeat of hot, dry, windy conditions~ Blah..... Come on Autumn~
