California is a mess at the moment but I am confident we will be fine in the future. Why? Because of entrepreneurs like the folks at Magpie. We had dinner there last night and in the competitive Sacramento area with lots of choices for restaurants, they are a winner. A fellow professor met us there and it was amazing. Rhonda really liked her carrot cake cookie which she had for dessert.
