Cafe Rolle
So Rhonda and I went to a CalPers retirement fair today to see how to rip off California to the maximum amount possible and get more of a pension. I think we learned a few things. I can buy five more years of service credit with pre-tax dollars so I just may. I also found out that after 66 years of age, I don't lose any Social Security, even if I keep working. If I work until I turn 63 I get to multiply the number of years worked times 2.5 percent times my highest salary, which will be nice. Now I just need to find a place to live where they don't tax my retirement. And we went to Cafe Rolle, recommended by Jonathan. It was fabulous. I had quiche and a salad and Rhonda had Croquet Monseir with ham and cheese and everything was great. If you have never tried the latter and want to make one yourself, here is the recipe.
