Well, Tom and Donna showed up with a friend, Ryan, to dismantle the hot tub. Since Tom is the retired maintenance supervisor for the city of So. Lake Tahoe, it went well. He and Ryan had all of the proper tools and actually knew what they were doing, with the electrical and so on. It went well and in short order, the hot tub was on the trailer and the wooden support structure was dismantled and on the truck. We did have to ask a neighbor, Todd, to help get it moved. It weighs 800 pounds. We ended up providing bratwursts for Todd and his three boys, but it was worth it. Then the Cook's grandkids came over to swim. I know, it is too cold, but their Dad is Andres Schwartz, a former Navy Seal and they are tough kids. And we still had a dinner party for Ann Engelbrecht, the Bob and Rhonda Kenny and of course, Tom, Donna and Ryan. The shrimp with some of our rosemary as a skewer was a hit as were the chicken kabobs.
